1952

Company established selling fruit and vegetables in Rochdale, Lancashire. Became a limited company in 1955.

1974

First 400 pallet cold stores built in Rochdale with a move into public cold storage and distribution.

1979

Expansion at Rochdale site continues

1986

Coleshill built. Major step forward making us a multi-site operation for frozen food sales and cold storage.

1989

Belfield formed to distribute frozen foods exclusively from overseas manufacturers.

1999

Heywood head-office built initially incorporating a 20,000 pallet site.

2000

Gillingham site purchased to expand distribution network.

2003

Seaham depot built and opened by HRH the princess royal.

2006

Celcius First was purchased adding 3 more cold stores.

2008

Acquisition of Innovate (Frozen) leads to 5 more cold stores added to distribution network.

2011

Ice Pak purchased and integrated into the food sales division.

2012

Purchase of 42,000 pallet automated cold store at Hams Hall in the Midlands.

2013

Expansion of Heywood completed to create our first Superhub.

2014

Planning permission granted for our 3rd Superhub in Peterborough
