Marketing Executive – Heywood

Currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive to work at our Heywood Head Office. You will be responsible for managing the day to day marketing activities of our organisation.

Working hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday-Friday.
Required skills:
  • minimum one year experience in a similar role is essential
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • good organisational and planning skills
  • the ability to work with a wide range of personnel at all levels within the company
  • knowledge of marketing techniques and public relations disciplines
  • the ability to work on multiple projects, under pressure and to deadlines
  • good attention to detail and accuracy
  • strong copywriting and proof reading skills
  • creativity
  • strong IT skills including all Microsoft Office applications
  • knowledge / experience of website maintenance and the use of social media
  • self motivation and a team player
  • a driving licence is desired

Duties Include

  • Prepare press releases, company newsletters and event announcements

  • Assist with writing corporate literature

  • Assist with developing advertisements and campaigns

  • Produce sales fliers for the Sales Team

  • Maintain public relations and brand photographic library

  • Compile and maintain press release distribution list, file and track press clippings

  • Prepare presentations

  • Monitor and update websites with current information

  • Assist with developing corporate and product social media campaigns

  • Develop email marketing campaigns

  • Assist with exhibition and event organisation

  • Monitor marketing budgets

  • Maintain and develop the competitor and industry intelligence library

  • Provide telephone, office and administrative support
