Transport Clerk – Grimsby

Currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Clerk to work at our Grimsby depot.

Working hours are 06:00-18:00 based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.


Duties Include

  • Supporting the Transport Manager to ensure all functions of the operation run smoothly and efficiently

  • Day to day vehicle tracking and entering information onto PODLI

  • De-briefing drivers

  • Vehicle downloads

  • Liaise with delivery/collection points

  • Preparing delivery notes for drivers

  • Monitoring driver performance by means of the RCOM system

  • Assisting with scheduling MOTs

  • POD queries

  • Dealing with all drivers

  • Reporting vehicle/trailer breakdowns

  • Ensuring vehicle/trailer temperature check records are accurate and up to date

  • Liaison with customer delivery points

  • Basic customer queries

  • Vehicle/trailer defect administration

  • Route planning

  • Completing all auditable records required by the Company
